Connecting an Advantys STB Island to a Quantum Master Using

Launch the Advantys Configuration Software from Unity Pro
Assemble the Advantys Island
You can now assemble the island in the Advantys Configuration Software:
5 Click the Validate button in the
toolbar.
The red arrow indicates the Validate button:
6 Select Device Type → STB.
7 In the Device Name field, enter
mySTB.
8 Press OK. The Property dialog box opens.
9 Press Yes when Unity Pro asks
you to confirm your Device Type
and Device Name.

1 On Unity Pro’s IO Scanning tab, click
the box (…) to the right of the Device
Name field.
z The Property dialog box appears.
z The Device Name (mySTB) is red.
2 Click the Launch Advantys
Configuration Software button.
The Advantys Configuration Software
opens.

1 In the Catalog Browser, expand the
STB - Catalog folder.
Click the plus (+) sign next to STB -
Catalog.
2 Expand the Networking tab and
double-click on STBNIP2311 - V2.xx.
The STB NIP 2311 NIM appears in the
island assembly.
3 Expand the Power tab and double-
click on STBPDT3100 - V1.xx.
The STB PDT 3100 power module
appears in the island assembly.
4 Expand the Digital Input, Digital
Output, Analog Input, and Analog
Output tabs to add the island I/O
modules in the same manner.
Add these modules:
z STBDDI3230 - V1.xx
z STBDDO3200 - V1.xx
z STBDDI3420 - V1.xx
z STBDDO3410 - V1.xx
z STBDDI3610 - V1.xx
z STBDDO3600 - V1.xx
z STBAVI1270 - V1.xx
z STBAVO1250 - V1.xx
5 Expand the Accessories tab and
double-click on STBXMP1100 - V1.xx.
The STB XMP 1100 island bus
termination plate appears in the island
assembly.
