HMI Registers

The island’s data process image can also be configured to contain:

z HMI output data written from the fieldbus master (usually a PLC) to an HMI

device. This data is stored in registers 44097 to 44608.

z HMI input data written to the fieldbus master from an HMI device. This data is

stored in registers 49488 to 49999.

Blocks in the Island Data Image (see page 243).

5 link absence (port 2)

6 The NIM has detected at least 1 Ethernet traffic overload condition. This bit is not

reset until the next power cycle.

7 The NIM has recently experienced an Ethernet traffic overload condition. This bit

automatically clears 15 seconds after the register is first read following an overload

condition.

8 The NIM has detected a module that is not operating.

9 The NIM has detected that at least 1 global bit was set (see page 131).

10 The NIM has detected an external failure on the fieldbus.

11 1 The configuration is password-protected. The RST button is disabled, and the

island configuration requires a password to write to it.

0 The island configuration is in edit mode. The RST button is enabled, and the

configuration is not password-protected.

12 The configuration on the removable memory card is not valid.

13 Reflex action functionality has been configured (for NIMs with firmware version 2.0

or greater).

14 One or more island modules have been hot-swapped (for NIMs with firmware

version 2.0 or greater).

15 1 The Advantys Configuration Software or an HMI panel is controlling the output

data of the island’s process image.
