Network Interface Modules
The STB Npp 2212 and STB Npp 1010 NIM (Network Interface Module), located at
the beginning of each island, are gateways for exchanging data between the network
or bus master PLC and the Advantys STB automation island.
The standard modules STB Npp 2212 also allow configuration and addressing of the
external devices of the installation. These settings are stored in the module’s internal
RAM or Flash memory. They can be saved on the STB XMP 4440 32 KB removable
memory card - apart from the address of the network connection point - in order to
copy the configuration of one island to another.
