Pin-Outs
The E984-258/265/275/285 CPUs are equipped with two RS-232 ports using eight-
pin RJ45 (phone jack-type) connectors that support Modicon’s proprietary Modbus
communication protocol.
For connection to a 9-pin AT-type panel, use a Modicon 110XCA20300 adapter.
For connection to a 25-pin XT-type panel, use a Modicon 110XCA20400 adapter.
