Configuring the Ethernet Network with Unity Pro
Introduction The following procedure describes how to add a new Ethernet network and link it to
the Modicon Quantum module we configured in the previous section.
Setting Up the
Network
Perform the following steps to add the Ethernet network:
Step Action
1 Locate the Communications directory in the Project browser.
2 Right-click the Network subdirectory located under the Communications
directory.
3 Select the New Network option to bring up the Add Network dialog box.
4Scroll to Ethernet in the List of available Networks box.
5 Enter a meaningful name for your network in the Change Name field
(NOE77101 was used in our example).
6 Click OK.
