Introduction
There are three ConneXium managed switch models available specically for

Ethernet I/O architectures. They are required in the following situations:

For ease of implementation of these switches, 7 predened conguration les are
available for building validated and tested architectures.
These conguration les are included as standard on the Unity
™
Pro V6.0 DVD. The
parameters of the switch(es) present on the Ethernet network can then be easily set
with the chosen conguration using a PC equipped with a web browser or Ethernet
Switch Congurator software. The switch is congured immediately.
Ethernet Switch Congurator software is also available on the ConneXium
Resource CD-ROM.
Each switch can have a different conguration depending on application requirements.
The table below gives the corresponding Ethernet network topology and compatible
switches for each predened conguration.
