a suitable wall socket.
3. Make sure that the output power of the wall outlet matches the required power of the adaptor.
Note:
• If not using the unit for a longer period of time, unplug the adaptor from the wall outlet and from
the unit.
Battery Backup Function
Two 1.5V “AAA” batteries (not included) can be installed as a backup option to maintain the time if
electrical power fails. In the event of a power outage, the time will not appear on the display, however,
the clock will continue to operate and the actual time will be maintained. The clock display will resume
once electrical power is restored if using the backup battery. The backup batteries should be replaced
as needed. Remove the batteries if the unit is not used or stored for long periods of time.
Basic Functions
Switching the Unit On & Off
1. Power the unit as described above.
2. The unit is now in standby mode.
3. To switch the unit on, press the STANDBY
/MODE button once. The unit will switch on to the
mode last selected.
4. To switch the unit off into standby mode, press and hold for 2 seconds the STANDBY
/MODE
button.
Mode Selection
• With the unit switched on, press the STANDBY
/MODE button repeatedly to switch between
the following modes: Radio, AUX, Bluetooth
®
.
Volume Control
• To increase the volume, press the Volume Up/Alarm 2 button.
• To decrease the volume, press the Volume Down/Alarm 1 button.
Clock Setting
The clock can only be set while the unit is in standby mode.
1. While the unit is in standby mode, press the Play/Pause button. The time will ash.
2. Press the PREV button to set the current hour.
3. Press the NEXT button to set the current minutes.
4. Once the time is set, press the Play/Pause button again to conrm and the display will go
back to displaying the set time in standby mode; the display will now show the set time.
Alarm Setting
An alarm can only be set while the unit is in standby mode.
This unit enables you to set 2 separate alarms. You can select to wake to Bluetooth
®
, Radio or Buzzer.
1. While the unit is in standby mode, press and hold for 2 seconds the Volume Down/Alarm
1 button (or the Volume Up/Alarm 2 button). (or ) will be shown in the display with
the time ashing).
2. In either alarm setting (alarm 1 or alarm 2) press the PREV button to set the desired alarm
hour and press the NEXT button to set the desired alarm minutes.
3. Once your desired time is set, press the Play/Pause button to conrm. Now press the
Volume Down/Alarm 1 button (or the Volume Up/Alarm 2 button) repeatedly to select
the desired wake up mode (Bluetooth
®
, Radio or Buzzer). The mode will be indicated in the
top left corner of the display.
4. Once the alarm mode is set, press the Play/Pause button to set the alarm volume. Press the
Volume Down/Alarm 1 button (or the Volume Up/Alarm 2 button) repeatedly to
increase/decrease the volume level.
