After factory settings are loaded, “First Time
Installation” menu will be displayed.
The menu which is displayed for language selection
appears on the screen at  rst. By using “ ” or “
” buttons, select the desired language option,
and press OK button to activate. After then, “First
time installation” OSD will appear on the screen.
By pressing “ ” or “ ” buttons, select the Country
you want to set and press OK button (* only for EU
countries). Next, active antenna mode selection OSD
will appear on the screen. Use “ ” or “ ” to set and
press OK to continue. See the section, “Initial Settings”
for more information. After active antenna mode option
is selected, a message asking for automatic search
appears on the screen:
Highlight “Yes” item by pressing “ ” or “ ” buttons
and press OK button to start installation. • To select
the “Yes” or “No” option, highlight the item by using “
” or “ ” buttons and press OK button.
After then, the following OSD will be displayed on
the screen:
If you select CABLE option, the following screen will
be displayed:
You can select frequency ranges from this screen. For
highlighting lines you see, use “ ” or “ ” button. You
can enter the frequency range manually by using the
numeric buttons on the remote control. Set Start and
Stop Frequency as desired by using numeric buttons
on the remote control. After this operation, you can set
Search Step as 8000 KHz or 1000 KHz. If you select
1000 KHz, the Tv will perform search process in a
detailed way. Searching duration will thus increase
accordingly. When  nished, press OK button to start
automatic search. Automatic searching screen will be
displayed during the process.
Note: If you select an extended gap between Start
and Stop frequency rate, automatic search duration
will take a longer time.
If you select AERIAL option from the Search Type
screen, the digital television will search for digital
terrestrial TV broadcasts:
The IDTV will automatically tune to the UHF or VHF
(** for EU countries) transmission channels, searching
for digital terrestrial TV broadcasts and displaying the
names of channels found. This process will take about
a few minutes. To cancel searching, you can press the
“MENU” button at any time during the process.
Note: If the digital TV fails to store any channels, “No
channels available.” message will be displayed on
the screen.
Either you select AERIAL or CABLE option from the
search type menu, after the digital automatic search
is completed, the following message asking for
analogue channel search appears on the screen:
Operation of analogue channel installation is explained
previously in “Initial Installation” section.
Media Browser (in DTV mode)
Whenever you plug a USB  ash disk to your TV, the
following message will be displayed on the screen:
Select YES or NO by pressing “ ” or “ ” button and
“OK” button to continiue.
You can also select Media Browser item from the
main menu by using “ ” or “ ” buttons. Press OK to
view Media Browser contents. You can play audio
and photo and video (optional)  les from a USB
 ash disk.
Note: Some USB compliant devices may not be
supported.
Note: Movie Sense and Pixellence features cannot
be set while in Media Browser mode.
