Maintenance
Chapter 7 Maintenance
Please observe that this is a professional industrial
coffee machine which needs regular maintenance and
descaling.
Timing of descaling is calculated by the machine and
depends on the degree of hardness of the local mains
water and whether or not a lter is tted.
The maintenance schedule is based on the degree of
use of the machine and is shown on the display. The
coffee machine may continue to be operated after the
message but Customer Care or contract maintenance
should be carried out promptly to ensure correct
functioning and so as to avoid any consequent damage.
7.1 Coffee machine maintenance
The following care or maintenance stages are provided:
Descaling, may be undertaken by the user / operator. y
y Customer Check-up every 15,000 coffees or
annually, whichever is sooner, may be undertaken by
the user / operator.
y Maintenance every 30,000 coffees or every 2 years,
whichever is sooner, may only be undertaken by
trained personnel or by Schaerer Service, as in
this instance components affecting safety must be
replaced.
y Revision after 6 years, may only be undertaken by
trained personnel or by Schaerer Service, as in
this instance components affecting safety must be
replaced.
