Error messages
Message Cause Remedy
„Under-temperature steam“
Excessive steam outputs. ●
Phase fuse defective. ●
Safety thermostat has opened. ●
Wait for approx. 3 minutes. If during this time “Time- ►
out heater steam” appears on the display, check if
phase fuse is defective.
Check if the safety thermostat has opened (if so ►
check the temperature probe on any damage).
„Under-temperature coffee“
Excessive coffee outputs. ●
Phase protection (fuse) defective. ●
Safety thermostat has opened. ●
Wait for approx. 3 minutes. If during this time “Time- ►
out heater coffee” appears on the display, check if
phase fuse is defective.
Check if the safety thermostat has opened (if so ►
check the temperature probe on any damage).
„Under-temperature hot water“
Excessive hot water outputs. ●
Phase protection (fuse) defective. ●
Safety thermostat has opened. ●
Wait for approx. 3 minutes. If during this time “Time- ►
out heater hot water” appears on the display, check if
phase fuse is defective.
Check if the safety thermostat has opened (if so ►
check the temperature probe on any damage).
„Water ow error“
No water connection. ●
Defective pump (pressure < 7.5 bar) (► ●
check the manometer)
Brew unit blocked. ●
Water system blocked. ●
Grinder setting too ne. ●
Electrical problem (main board, ...) ●
Open the shut-off valve and press the beverage but- ►
ton again.
Check the brew unit. ►
Check the grinder setting. ►
Check the owmeter on any blockages. ►
Check the hydraulic system from the pump to the ►
brewing unit on any blockage.
„Grinder l./b. motor driver error“
Main board defective. ● Exchange main board. ►
„Grinder r./f. motor driver error“
Main board defective. ● Exchange main board. ►
„Brewing unit motor driver error“
Main board defective. ● Exchange main board. ►
„Timeout water supply steamb.“
The water level in the steam generator is not ●
correct.
Check whether the stop valve of the water supply is ►
open.
Unplug the machine from the power supply and plug ►
it back in again.
If the message persists: check the level probe on ►
function and replace if defective.
„Temperature sensor steam“
The temperature sensor in the steam boiler ●
is defective.
Check if the safety thermostat has opened. ►
Check the level probe visually (blue colouring?) and ►
replace if defective.
„Temperature sensor coffee“
The temperature sensor in the coffee water ●
boiler is defective.
Check if the safety thermostat has opened. ►
Check the level probe visually (blue colouring?) and ►
replace if defective.
„Temperature sensor HW“
The temperature sensor in the hot water ●
boiler is defective.
Check if the safety thermostat has opened. ►
Check the level probe visually (blue colouring?) and ►
replace if defective.
„Timeout heater steam“
The programmed end temperature was not ●
reached within the specied time.
Switch the machine off and on again. ►
Check the phase fuse. ►
„Timeout heater coffee“
The programmed end temperature was not ●
reached within the specied time.
Switch the machine off and on again. ►
Check the phase fuse. ►
„Timeout heater HW“
The programmed end temperature was not ●
reached within the specied time.
Switch the machine off and on again. ►
Check the phase fuse. ►
