4.4. Move brew piston
Down
Press to move the brew piston downwards.
IMPORTANT REMARKS:
During “Move brew piston” the current
monitoring is not active!
Do not move the brew piston to long
onto the end point! The brew motor can
get damaged!
Up
Press to move the brew piston upwards.
Starting (home) position
Press to move the brew piston to its origin position (home
position).
4.5. Calibrate grinders
Grinder Grinder left
Select the grinder which should be calibrated. Grinder calibration must be done after:
Exchanging the grinding discs;
Exchanging the grinder motor;
Exchanging the (complete) grinder;
Adjusting the grind level;
Changing the CPU;
Updating the software;
Reference grinding 20.0gr.
Set the amount of the reference grind (procedure see
below).
Standard value is 20.0 gram. ;
This value has to be adjusted after refer-
ence grinding!
Start reference grinding
Press “Start reference grinding” to start the process.
The grinder is working for 10 seconds. ;
Repeat the process for approximately 3-5 times.
Enter the weighted amount in the menu “Refer- ;
ence grinding” (see above).
Stoppen (xx:xx)
Press “Stop (xx.xx)” to end the process.
Procedure for grinder calibration
Start reference grinding
Bridge the position switch on the front door.
Place a cup between the brew unit and the grounds con-
tainer.
Press “Start reference grinding”.
The grinder is working for 10 seconds. ;
After the grinding has ended weigh the amount using a
digital balance.
Enter the weighted amount in the menu “Reference
grinding XX.X gr.”.
4.6. Grinding time adjustment
Grinding time adjustment 0.00%
Range: 0.00-4.00%
Set the grinding time adjustment.
After every hour of working time the grind-
ing time will be increased about the entered
value.
Recommendation:
Not active (value 0.00%)!
