If the machine is connected to a newly installed water pipe, the pipe and the supply tube must be thoroughly rinsed so that no dirt particles can enter the machine. The coffee maker must be connected to an installed drinking-water pipe with shutoff valve.

CHEF card Functional description The CHEF card is used as a programming card for the customer.
www.schaerer.com Messages & Troubleshooting Messages & Troubleshooting Chip card reader Message Cause Remedy „Chip card read error“ ●● The card reader does not recognise the inserted chip card. ●● The chip card reader is defective. ►► Clean the chip card (chip) with a cotton cloth and reinsert the chip card. ►► Use another chip card. „Unknown chip card“ ●● The inserted chip card has a wrong machine number. ●● The inserted chip card has a wrong installation number.
