Through a partnership with a large, global fan supplier,
Schaefer can design and source fan solutions of essentially
any size for essentially any industrial or commercial
application.
Product Line
Our extensive product line includes centrifugal fans, plenum fans, radial bladed fans, supply fans,
downblast and upblast centrifugal and axial roof and wall exhausters, filtered supply fans, cabinet
ventilators, tubeaxial fans, vaneaxial fans, fumehood exhaust fans, smoke and heat exhaust fans,
spark resistant fans, mixed flow and material handling fans, and others. Available fan construction
materials include steel, aluminum and Endurex. Special coatings for long life in in extremely harsh
environments are available. Most fans are available in explosion resistant versions.
Applications
Commercial fan applications include ventilation fans for retail and office buildings, restaurants,
schools, hospitals, and government buildings. Industrial fan applications include air and material
handling, air cleaning, ventilation, cooling, heating, combustion air supply, filtration and drying
systems, fume hoods, spray-paint booths and exhaust systems.
Lead Times
Lead times on “Your Special Fan” range from 4 weeks for a limited range of “QuickShip” fans
to 12 weeks or more for design-and-build fans.

Application Examples
Dairy Farm in Saudi Arabia
Customer required a high powered, high static pressure feed fan for his custom “pop-up” udder drying
system in his holding pen.
SOLUTION: Schaefer specified and provided a 21", 10 HP, Vaneaxial fan capable of 3,000 cfm at 5" S.P.
Anhydrous Sodium Sulphate Manufacturer - USA
Original exhaust fans had corroded badly in this highly corrosive environment and needed to be replaced.
SOLUTION: Schaefer specified and provided seven medium duty 5 HP, 48" propeller wall exhaust fans entirely
coated with a protective phenolic coating. The leading edges of the fan blades will need to be re-coated annually,
as the phenolic coating abrades away due to the solids in the airflow.
Sugar Manufacturer - USA
Original high static pressure process fan had too short a lifetime in an environment that includes small
amounts of Hydrogen Sulphide.
SOLUTION: Schaefer specified and provided a 4 HP, 2000 cfm @ 7” S.P. radial blade fan completely made of
316 stainless steel.
