• Please reference the set-top box’s manual as well, to make sure
the set-top box is configured to output correctly to the TV.
• Sceptre’s X23 LCD HDTV supports SONY’s universal remote
code. Please look up SONY’s codes in your universal
remote’s hand book.
If You Want the Good Connection with S-Video…
1. Make sure the power of X23 LCD HDTV and your set-top box is
turned off.
2. Obtain an S-Video Cable. Connect the S-Video connector to both
your set-top box and Composite’s S-Video connector port off the
back of your X23 LCD HDTV.
3. Obtain a RCA Audio Cable. Connect the white color connector to
both your set-top box and Composite’s white connector port off the
back of your X23 LCD HDTV.
4. Connect the red color connector to both your set-top box and
Composite 1’s red connector port off the back of your X23 LCD
HDTV.
5. Turn on the X23 LCD HDTV and your set-top box.
6. Use the remote control’s source button or the source button on the
right side of the TV to switch to AV1 (S-Video).
