· Practice assembling and dismantling the unit a few times before making juice.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE
DISMANTLING
· Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
· Remove the transparent lid, open the locks.
· Remove the upper body, pull the grating filter upwards, then take off separating unit.
ASSEMBLING
· Make sure the unit is switched off and unplugged.
· Place double pullout pulp container so as the spindles will fit into the slots on the lower body.
· Place the separating unit on motor unit, push with both hands on the separating unit.
· Insert the grating filter; turn it clockwise to fit securely.
· Insert upper body into lower body. Make sure housing unit locks in place.
· Attach transparent lid closed with pusher in food chute. When preparing unit to operation
attach transparent lid facing upwards to facilitate pushing food into food chute keep pusher
ready for use.
· Do not touch sharp grating filter.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
· This appliance is equipped with a safety system. If the cover is not correctly placed or the locks
are unfastened, the appliance will not function.
· Before starting make sure that juicer is switched off and transparent lid fixed properly.
· Wash fruit and vegetables thoroughly. Fruits with cores such as apples and pears can be juiced
with skin and core. Remove the stone from those fruit such as cherries, prunes, etc., and the
peel from citrus, melons, kiwis, etc. Cut fruit into small pieces so as to be fitted into the feeding
funnel.
· Place a juice jug under spout.
· Plug cord into the wall socket. Switch on the appliance and choose desired speed:
· Speed 1: - for soft foods (tomatoes, pears, strawberries, oranges, plums, grapefruit, lemon,
grapes, marrows and pumpkins, cherries, onions, cucumbers, garlic).
· Speed 2: - for hard foods (artichokes, carrots, fennel, apples, beets, potatoes, pineapple,
cabbages, leeks, celery, spinach).
· Feed the pre-prepared fruit and vegetables into the juice extractor and press down gently with
the pusher. NEVER USE FINGER AS PUSHER.
· The motor must always be running after fruit or vegetables were fed into the appliance.
· When pulp container or juice jug are full, switch off the power and empty containers before
continuing to process.
· When process is completed, switch off and unplug the unit.
· To remove upper body, depress release buttons and gently take off the filter assembly and
reservoir.
ATTENTION: Do not run juicer continuously for longer than 3 minutes. Turn off switch and let it
rest for at least 1 minute to cool down the motor.
CAUTION:
· The juice extractor cannot process bananas, peaches, apricots, mangos, papayas, etc.
· The juice extractor cannot process coconut or other hard food.
PRACTICAL ADVICE
· It is preferable to drink natural juices immediately after preparation for maximum flavour and
vitamin benefit. However, if you wish to keep the juice for several hours, lemon juice must be
added as a natural preservative.
· Dilute juice for children with an equal amount of water.
