3.4.1 : Output File Selector
The output file selector allows the operator to specify the file that
will receive the parameter measurements . Clicking on the
“Select Output…” button will bring up a standard windows file
selection tool, Figure 3. This tool allows the operator to browse
existing folders, create new folders and specify an output file-
name.
Keep in mind that the output file is a parameter file. As each bat
call is processed, SCAN’R
tm
will measure the relevant parameters
and store them into this file using a standard tab delimited pa-
rameter file format. SCAN’R
tm
also supports two different pa-
rameter base formats along with several different optional pa-
rameters. Use the Output Format selection window (section
3.6.1) to select the desired output format.
It is important to note that the output file is only reset at the time
you select it. After this, the file will be updated with results from
each new scan. This will continue until either a new file is se-
lected or the same file is reselected. To rerun a scan, overwriting
the previous results, you must first reselect the output file.
