Scanner cannot be white-point calibrated
If the scanner cannot be white-point calibrated:
Check that the white calibration strip on the underside of the mounting
plate is clean.
Check that the lid of the scanner is properly closed.
If there still is a problem, it may be because the intensity of the transmission
lamp or reflection lamps is deteriorating.
To replace the transmission lamp, proceed as described in the
Maintenance chapter of this manual.
To replace the reflection lamps, please call your local ScanView dealer for
technical support.
Scanner cannot be focus calibrated
If the scanner cannot be focus calibrated:
Check that the mounting plate is clean.
Check that the correct calibration target is being used and that it is clean.
Check that the calibration target is placed correctly on the mounting plate,
so that the lines on the target are at right angles to the slit in the scanner bed.
Check that the lid of the scanner is properly closed.
If there still is a problem, it may be because the intensity of the transmission
lamp or reflection lamps is deteriorating.
To replace the transmission lamp, proceed as described in the
Maintenance chapter of this manual.
To replace the reflection lamps, please call your local ScanView dealer for
technical support.
