NEW SOLUTIONS FOR WELL INTERVENTION Safety is an industry challenge especially during well testing, well intervention and work over riser (WOR) operations on floating drilling rigs. Scan Tech Weak Link Bails system, in combination with the Wireline Safe Beam and new Quick Connect Elevator, minimizes danger to Drill Floor personnel. Moreover, it helps prevent damage to Derrick, Drilling Rig travelling assemblies and load path equipment resulting from Drill String Compensator failure or misuse.
A Wireline Safe Beam with two wirelessly remote controlled 5 tonne winches, for rigging up Wireline equipment without manriding. By using the Wireline Safe Beam in combination with the Weak Link Bails, the work window between the bails make the wireline work easier and safer. A Quick Connect Elevator to latch on to the Surface Flow Tree, another step towards the personnel free Drill Floor.
