CAUSE: One or more of the operation panel buttons is stuck in the down position.
This will lock up the complete operation panel including the LCD touchscreen.
SOLUTION: Repair the stuck operation panel button(s) as necessary.

CAUSE: The drum separation claws are not contacting the drum.
SOLUTION: To check if the separation claws are contacting the drum, perform the following:
1. Access the 47 mode (power the machine ON, while holding down on the 4 and 7 keys), output
code 29.
2. Open the right side door and cheat the door interlock.
3. Open the guide for the transfer corona and you can see the drum and separation claws.
4. Press the print button and see if the separation claws contact the drum.
5. If the claws do not contact the drum, remove the drum assembly.
6. Remove the the separation guide plate (p/n 26NA20240) and check the location of the the tabs
that are located on each end.
7. Reinstall the separation guide plate making sure that the tabs are inserted into the slots of the
wire guide part (p/n 26NA20950)
8. Install the drum assemble and check that the claws are contacting the drum.
9. Power the machine OFF/ON to exit the 47 mode and make copies in 2:2 mode.

CAUSE: APS was not turned ON for all the trays and the ADF.
SOLUTION: To turn APS ON for all the trays and the ADF, perform the following:
1. Press [HELP] to display the Help Screen, then touch Key-Ope mode.
2. Touch 12. Memory SW to display the Memory Switch Screen. The Memory Switch Screen can
be scrolled to the third screen.
3. Touch [8] RADF APS, touch EDIT to turn ON.
4. Touch [10] ATS/APS SW (Tray 1), touch EDIT to turn Tray 1 ON.
5. Touch [11] ATS/APS SW (Tray 2), touch EDIT to turn Tray 2 ON.
6. Touch [12] ATS/APS SW (Tray 3), touch EDIT to turn Tray 3 ON.
7. Touch RETURN to restore the Key Operator Mode Screen.
8. Power the machine OFF/ON to exit the Key Operator Mode.

The 7020 will not automatically reset to the copy mode after using the fax mode. Copy mode
has to be manually selected from the operation panel.
