5-2. Level 2 - Level 3 Data Interface
The Level 2 - Level 3 Data Interface defines the data transfer and control
interface between an L2 and an L3.
This interface allows:
• registration and unregistration of L2 with the data interface
• transmission and receipt of normal data packets
• requests for the retrieval of data packets which have not been
successfully transmitted.
This interface contains the following structures:
