14 Repair

Repair of the power2max powermeter is generally excluded. It is only possible to change de-

fective spare parts. A list of the available spare parts is given in

Chapter 13: Accessories, Spare

15 Service, Calibration and Function Check

The power2max powermeter is always delivered with a factory calibration that needs not be re-

newed during the warranty period.

Nevertheless, you may order a calibration or function check through our web shop. In such case

your power2max powermeter will be inspected externally, recalibrated and checked for proper

functioning. Together with your

power2max powermeter, you will receive a renewed test and

acceptance certificate.

CAUTION: An order for calibration and function check may be useful after an accident, for example.

But it will in no case extend the warranty period; a potential liability for any mechanical damage not

found shall expressly be excluded.

11 Servicing and Maintenance

The plastic cover on the battery compartment should only be removed when changing batte-

ries. Repeated opening can impair the effectiveness of the O-ring seal. O-rings should be chek-

ked, and if necessary changed, each time the battery cover is removed.

Please do not use diluters or solvents when cleaning the

power2max powermeter. Instead, water,

soap and a soft sponge or cloth should be used.

CAUTION: Never use high pressure cleaning equipment to clean the powermeter.

12 Disposal

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin found on the documentation and the pak-

kaging material of this product, means that, in the European Union, electrical and

electronic products, batteries and accumulators must be disposed of at a separate

waste collection container. Please do not dispose of these products in any unsorted

domestic waste.

Please dispose of these products separately from all other waste material, in order to avoid damages

to the environment and to human health, caused by uncontrolled waste disposal and to promote su-

stainable recycling of material resources.

13 Accessories, Spare Parts

If necessary, you can order the following power2max accessories or spare parts in the web shop:

CR2450 battery by RENATA,

- O-ring seal kit for the battery compartment;

- battery cover including screws (without decorative labelling); and

- decorative label in the desired colours (power2max green, white, red, blue, yellow).
