2 Explosion Protection
CargoTrac-ExR-M1 complies with the European Directive 2014/34/EU and the
international IECEx requirements. The device may be used in hazardous areas of
zones 1 and 2 for gases and in zones 21 and 22 for dust. In zones 1 and 21 there is
occasionally the danger of explosive gas and dust mixtures and there is a high
requirement for the safety of the device. Typical gases are hydrogen and conductive
dusts.
