Basic Operation

Auto Reduce/Enlarge—Having the Machine Choose the Re-

production Ratios

The machine can select the proper reproduction ratio based on the selected paper

size and the original size.

Example:

Metric version: original: A3L, copy paper: A4L

Inch version: original: 11" × 17"L, copy paper: 81/2" × 11"L

Press the Auto Reduce/Enlarge

key.

Set your originals.

Choose your copy paper size (e.g.

A4l, 8

1/2" × 11"l ).

Press the Start key. The original im-

age is enlarged or reduced to fit the

selected copy paper.
