Basic Operation
Combined auto and manual image density
Use when copying originals with a dirty background (such as newspapers). You can
adjust the foreground density while masking out the dark background.

If Auto Color Selection mode is se-
lected, select other color modes to
cancel it. ☛ See page 27.

Press the Auto Image Density key
to light the Auto Image Density indi-
cator.

Press the Lighter or Darker key
to adjust the density.
