2.3 ELECTRICAL COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
Refer to the electrical component layout on the reverse side of the Point to
Point Diagram (on large sized sheet).

Jogger Drives the jogger plate to square the
copies

bring them to the stapling position

Detects whether there is any paper in

Jogger H.P. Detects whether the jogger plate is in
its home position

Timing Provides pulses to the sorter stapler
main board.

Stapler Paper Detects whether any copies are under
the hammer.

gear has rotated once

Switches
SW1 8
Door Safety Removes the dc +24V supply when
either the unit or the stapler cover is
opened.
SW2 7 Stapler Removes a 24 Vdc line to the stapler.
