· Replace the belt transfer
corona wire.
· Replace the paper
transfer corona wire.
· Replace the lubricant brush.
· Replace the lubricant bar.

Transfer unit
1. When replacing the belt, clean each roller, stays, the marker brushes, the grounding
brushes, and the belt H.P. sensor. After replacing the transfer belt, perform the forced belt
cleaning procedure (SP2-311).
2. Clean the belt transfer corona wire with a dry cloth.
3. Clean the belt transfer corona unit casing first with a damp cloth and then with a dry cloth.
4. Clean the belt transfer corona unit end block with a dry cloth.
5. Clean paper dust and toner off the paper transfer corona wire with a dry cloth.
6. Clean the paper transfer corona unit casing first with a damp cloth and then with a dry
cloth.
7. Clean the paper transfer corona unit end block with a dry cloth.
8. Clean the paper transfer entrance seal with a dry cloth.
9. Clean the paper brush taking care not to bristle it up.
10. Clean the exit guide (paper transfer) with a dry cloth.
11. Replace the cleaning blade. Apply setting powder (54429101) over the blade
surface.
12. Check the belt cleaning entrance seal (replace if cracks or warps are found).
13. Check the belt cleaning side seal (replace if a tear is found).
14. Check the toner receptacle seal (replace if cracks, warps or breakages are found).
15. Clean the cleaning unit (including SOLs) with a dry cloth every visit.
16. Detach the lubricant brush from the holder and clean it with a cloth.
17. Check if the lubricant brush is loose.
18. Clean the Cleaning support roller with a cloth.
19. Inspect the lubricant bar (replace if a chip is found or the brush is rubbing against
the bar).
