PictBridge: Direct Digital Camera Connectivity
The standard USB 2.0 Type A interface on the Savin
CLP37DN/CLP42DN can be used to connect a PictBridge-
enabled digital camera directly to the printer, bypassing the
need to process photographic images through a connected PC.
When configured with the Camera Direct Print Card, an option
that is installed via an SD card, your customers can connect
their digital still cameras directly to the printer. PictBridge is
the industry standard for connecting digital cameras to a
printer or MFP. No software is required regardless of camera
brand. Printing is controlled via the LCD control panel of the
connected camera, making it easier than ever to print
hardcopy images. This is a convenient feature for customers
with photo-intensive applications like insurance claims, real
estate, construction, product testing, and law enforcement.
