Auto E-mail Notification

Another proactive communication feature

delivered through Web Image Monitor is

the ability to notify selected administrators

via E-mail in the event of "Toner Almost

Empty", "Out of Toner", "Call Service",

"Cover Open", or "Paper Tray Error"

conditions, for example. Users can set the

system to notify administrators when an

error occurs, or within a specified time

period (between 0 – 30 minutes).

The system can also be set to inform

personnel when consumables are

approaching end of life to allow for

proactive maintenance. Each E-mail

contains the exact network address and

device name so the administrator can

immediately begin error/fault correction.

Windows Active Directory Support – Paper Size Setting

For users running Windows 2000, XP, or Vista, this function allows administrators to remotely access and

change device settings for the paper size located in each tray that is presented to connected users when using

the PCL driver. It also allows the administrator to name the media type in each tray so that the end-user can

easily identify the paper in each source, such as Invoice, Quote, or Monthly Report.
