The Savin CLP37DN and Savin CLP42DN are both powered by a
600 MHz CPU built on the latest version of the Savin Controller
Architecture. This powerful brain is supported with 384 MB RAM
standard in the Savin CLP37DN, and with a total of 768 MB
RAM plus the 80 GB Hard Disk Drive and an SD Card for ELP-NX
standard in the Savin CLP42DN.
The controller board slides out from the rear of the main unit for
the installation of optional memory or the HDD in the Savin
CLP37DN, and/or optional interfaces in either model.
VM or SD Cards for added functionality are installed by removing the two
screws of the Card Slot cover only (circled). The controller board does not
have to be removed for the installation of VM or SD cards.
The Upper slot can be used to install the:
 Camera Direct Print Card for
PictBridge
 SD Card for NetWare printing
 DataOverwriteSecurity Unit
(DOSS)
The Lower slot can be used for the:
 HDD Encryption Unit
 To install ESA applications
 To install the VM Card for
ELP-NX functionality in the
Savin CLP42DN.
