Returning to Installation
Defaults
This function deletes all data and set-
tings and returns the system to its ini-
tial state. To start initialization, select
[Return to Installation Defaults] from the
[Maintenance] menu.
Important
❒ Do not use this function unless ab-
solutely necessary.
Synchronize with Directory
Server (only with ScanRouter
Enterprise)
If the destination information is im-
ported from the directory server, up-
date the destinations with the latest
information of the directory server.
When the information is updated, the
following is done:
• Changing of mail addresses
• Deleting destinations that corre-
spond to deleted mail accounts
Synchronization is automatically exe-
cuted as part of maintenance processing.
To manually execute synchronization,
select [
Synchronize with Directory Server ]
from the [
Maintenance ] menu. Automatic
synchronization is periodically carried
out at the maintenance start time speci-
fied by the scheduler.

❒ Before a destination is deleted, a
confirmation message is dis-
played. During the automatic syn-
chronization, however, the
destination is not deleted but dis-
played in a log.
