Installation
To access the program you merely need a current version of a
browser program. Use the Microsoft Internet Explorer. We rec-
ommend at least Version 5.5.
The installation of RW-470 PLOTCLIENT WEB has already been
carried out on the RW-470 PLOTBASE server. To be able to use
the “add multiple“ function in the browser program, a Java run-
time environment must be installed on your workstation. This
program has been supplied for three different operating sys-
tems. These programs are located on the server in the following
shared folder:
\\<Server>\Tools\PlotclientWebPlugins\
Note: If you do not install the respective plugin, you
cannot use “add multiple“ function in RW-470
PLOTCLIENT WEB.
The following installation programs are delivered with the soft-
ware and offered in this folder:
• J2re-1_3_1-linux-i386.bin: This program is for installa-
tion on a Linux computer. Click on “bash Inst-java.sh“ to
start installation. After installation, the archive and the un-
packed files can be deleted on the workstation.
• J2re-1_3_1-win-i.exe: With this setup program you can
install Java Runtime for Windows. Start the installation with a
double click on the file name “setup.exe“.
• Wmplgin1.exe: Windows TIF viewer to be able to view tif
files directly in the browser.
Select a suitable program for your operating system and start the
installation. Follow the instructions given by the installation pro-
gram.
