This is a release note for a patch file for printer controller EB-105EX.

SR860 Support
• When printing more than 16 sheets in booklet stapling mode with
Finisher2500, “SC990” may occur.
• If the EB-105EX is powered on before the mainframe power is turned
on, the EB-105EX may not boot correctly. (Because of this limitation,
the manual states that the mainframe should always be powered on
first.)
• When printing with booklet and staple selected with the PCL5e/PCL6
driver and the Plockmatic, the prints will be fed out to the finisher
proof tray.
• When printing jobs stored in the Document Server, the prints may be
rotated 180 degrees in some conditions.
• Problems with the User Code counter -- When the User Code mode
is set to the “Auto Program” mode, a print job sent from an
unregistered user may be wrongly treated, resulting in the counter of
a different registered-user counting-up.
• When paper runs out while printing with both the booklet and stapling
modes, the staple setting will be automatically canceled for the rest
of the job (after paper is replenished).
Patch Procedure for 1-AKVJG:
1. Download the patch file (1-AKVJG.ps) to the Print queue by using the “Fiery
Downloader”.
2. Wait for more than 60 seconds. (Very important)
3. Reboot the system.
(Access the Fiery menu, select “Shut Down” and then “Reboot System”.)
4. When the EB-105EX becomes idle, print the configuration sheet.
5. Check if you can see the patch number “1-AKVJG.ps” in the "Update
Information" section on the configuration sheet.
