This Technical Bulletin contains important notes concerning the installation of the printer
controller EB-105EX for the Bellini-C2.
Necessary firmware
Connection with the EB-105EX controller is supported on the B-C2 from the following
firmware versions:
• Language: V.3.02 (B0705350A) or newer
• BCU: V4.05 (B0705254B) or newer
•
System: V4.02.1 (B0705754C) or newer
• LCDC (NA): V2.12 (B0705374A) or newer
•
LCDC (EU): V2.12 (B0705375A) or newer
•
NCS (NIB): V4.15 (B0705755B) or newer
• Netfile: V.3.07.2 (B0705756B) or newer
•
BIOS: VK02EL00S (B0705742E) or newer
• SR840 (B478): V.1.464 (B4785110) or newer
Necessary EPROM for use with the SR840 finisher (B478)
A small box containing EPROM V1.464 will be packaged together with EB-105EX
controllers produced up and through November 2003, which will allow this controller to be
used with the SR840 finisher.
Therefore when installing the controller in machines using an SR840 finisher, please install
EPROM V1.464 or newer on the finisher main board if the ROM version is older than this.
The ROM version can be confirmed by accessing SP7-801 and checking the
corresponding ROM P/N:
