Read carefully the installation instructions for each patch as written below:

1-HASH8 (A patch which will update the FPGA revision to Rev.20)
Printing out the configuration sheet of EB-105EX can check the FPGA revision number.
If the revision number is under 20 or if you are not aware of the FPGA revison number, apply the 1-HASH8
patch first as follows:
1. Import the patch file "1-HASH8.ps" with CommandWorkstation to the "Direct" queue.
2. Reboot the EB-105EX.
3. FPGA upgrade will take place and "FPGA upgrading. Please wait..."will be displayed on the server LCD.
4. After about 14 min, "It is now safe to power off" will be displayed on the server LCD.
5. Power OFF then ON the EB-105EX.
6. Print out the configuration sheet. Verify FPGA version = Rev 20 on the configuration sheet.

1-LV4GA (Composite Patch)
1. Print out the configuration sheet and make sure that the FPGA version is Rev 20.
2. Import the patch file "1-LV4GA.ps" with CommandWorkstation to the "Direct" queue.
3. Wait at least 60 seconds. (This is very important.)
4. Select "Shut Down" and then "Reboot System" on the operation panel, or execute a soft reboot from
CommandWorkstation.
5. Wait until the EB-105EX has come to idle.
6. Print out the configuration sheet. Verify the Update Information section on the configuration sheet.
It should show the patch number "1-LV4GA".

1-N69ZD (A patch which fixes the bug in the Composite Patch)
1. Import the patch file "1-N69ZD.ps" with CommandWorkstation to the "Direct" queue.
2. Wait at least 60 seconds. (This is very important.)
3. Select "Shut Down" and then "Reboot System" on the operation panel, or execute a soft reboot from
CommandWorkstation.
4. Wait until the EB-105EX has come to idle.
5. Print out the configuration sheet. Verify the Update Information section on the configuration sheet.
It should show the patch number "1-N69ZD".
