This RTB is the release note for Patch File
1-HG4WZ
for EB-105EX printer controller
System V1.2.
Patch File Issue(s)
1-HG4WZ This patch uses the linearization curve (gamma curve) from System
V1.01.
Important Note
Use this patch only when:
1) The machine was upgraded directly from System V1.01 to V1.2,
AND
2) The customer says they like the image quality of V1.01 better than
that of V1.2.
Note: This patch is only for EB-105EX System Version 1.2.
Patch Update Procedure
1. Use the Fiery Downloader to download the patch file (
1-HG4WZ.ps
) to the Direct
queue.
2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
Note:
This is very important
.
3. Reboot the EB-105EX.
 “Fiery” menu  “Shut Down”  “Reboot System”
4. Wait until “EB-105EX” is displayed on the EB-105EX LCD panel.
5. Reboot the EB-105EX again.
Note:
This step is necessary to apply the new patch.
6. Wait until “EB-105EX” is displayed on the EB-105EX LCD panel.
7. Print out the Configuration Sheet.
8. Make sure that patch number
1-HG4WZ
is listed in the “Update Information” section of
the Configuration Sheet.
