4. Overview of the V1.01 to V1.2 System Upgrade Procedure
1) Check the contents of the kit.
- User Software CD-ROM V1.2.1 [G3536671C]
- PCL driver CD-ROM V2.00 [G3536691D]
- Document CD-ROM V1.20 [G3536681D]
- Release Note [G3536731B]
- *System Software CD-ROM V1.2.0 [G3536981A]
- *FPGA Update Patch Rev. 1f CD-ROM [G3538921]
- Version-Up Instructions [G3538911]
Note* These CDs should be used by service personnel only.
2) Follow the “Version-UP Instructions” and update the System software to V1.2.
3) Print a configuration sheet and check the FPGA revision. If the FPGA revision is
0
1,
apply the FPGA update patch. (Follow the “Version-Up Instructions” for details)
4) Give the following items to the customer or site administrator.
- User Software CD-ROM V1.2.1 [G3536671C]
- PCL driver CD-ROM V2.00 [G3536691D]
- Document CD-ROM V1.20 [G3536681D]
- Release Note [G3536731B]
5) Instruct the customer to do the following:
1) Uninstall the old drivers and utilities on their client PCs
2) Install the new drivers and utilities on their client PCs
