The following is a patch file release note for the EB-105EX printer controller.
Patch File Symptom Corrected
1-9ZUYT
A paper jam sometimes occurs with the last sheet when printing out to the
SR860, if all of the following conditions are met:
1. System v1.01 is installed with patch ”1-AKVJG.ps”.
2. The Booklet Finishing option is selected.
3. The total number of sheets printed out = (a multiple of 15) + 1.
Patch Procedure for 1-9ZUYT
Important Note:
This patch file is for application to System v1.01 containing the 1-AKVJG.ps patch.
1. Confirm that the 1-AKVJG.ps patch is already installed by checking to see if it is listed
in the “Update Information” section of the configuration sheet. If it is not, apply this
patch before going on to Step 2.
2. Download the new 1-9ZUYT.ps patch listed above to the Print queue using the Fiery
Downloader.
3. Wait at least 60 seconds.
Note:
It is very important to wait at least this long before continuing.
4. Reboot the system (Fiery Menu
! Shut Down ! Reboot System).
5. Print out the configuration sheet once the EB-105EX has completely warmed up and
reached ready status.
6. Confirm that the 1-9ZUYT.ps patch has been successfully installed by checking to see
that it is listed in the “Update Information” section of the configuration sheet.
