You can set your originals either in the Document Feeder (ADF) or on the exposure glass. Some types of originals are unsuitable for the Document Feeder (ADF) so they must be set on the exposure glass. Which way you place your original depends on its size and whether you are using the Docum ent Feeder (ADF) or the exposure glass.

Normally, all documents loaded in the Document Feeder (ADF) are scanned as the same sizes. To scan originals of different sizes as different sizes, use Mixed Original Sizes.

Additionally, you can store a name that will appear on the display whenever you press that Quick Dial.

When you press the {Tone} key, the machine dials the number using tonal signals. -Sending Tonal Signals by ISDN (Optional ISDN Unit Required) You can still send tone signals to a G3 user even if the machine is only connected to an ISDN line.
