Remote Control Operation
The remote is pre-paired to Switch 1 located at the bottom of the remote. Press the “Bri-” (Brightness) button and
the power level of the pad will decrease. Press the “Bri+” button to increase. Press the “Main Off” button to turn all
connected pads off simultaneously and the “Main On” button to light all connected pads. The remote can be used to
control up to 4 Savage LiteShaper Flexible LED Panels.
Pairing/Unpairing the Light Pad to the Remote
UNPAIR
With the power bank turned off, press and hold Switch 1 in the Off position. While pressing the switch in the Off
position, turn the power bank on. If the light has been successfully unpaired, it will ash 3 times.
PAIR
You can then re-pair the light to any of the 4 switches at the bottom of the remote. To re-pair, press the On button of
your choice with the power bank in the Off position. While the On switch is still pushed on the remote, turn the power
bank switch to On. If successful, the light pad will ash three times. This indicates that the pad has been re-paired to
the selected switch. It can now be turned on/off using the paired switch without turning any other paired pad on or off.
To control multiple light pads independently, pair each (up to 4) to the switch of your choice. When an individual light
is turned on, the dimmer switches will only work for that light. To adjust the light output for the next light to the desired
level, press the On switch for that light and the light output can be adjusted without affecting the output of other paired
lights.
Using the Panel Frame
The panel frame comes preassembled but can be collapsed by pressing the pins at each corner and separating.
To use, screw the included shoe adapter into the thread at the bottom of the frame. Make sure the shoe is parallel
with the front edge of the frame and then tighten down the knurled knob closest to the frame to secure. Slide the shoe
into the top of the included light stand adapter. Tighten the knob on the side of the light stand adapter to tighten. Then
tighten down the knurled knob closest to the top of the light stand adapter to tighten securely. The frame can now be
attached to any light stand with a standard 5/8” spigot. Velcro the LED pad to the back of the frame with the bottom strap
attached to itself. Use this way when maximum light output or higher contrast light is desired. When a more
diffused/shadowless light is desired, Velcro the included frame diffuser to the front of the frame.
For Use as a Softbox Modeling Light or Video Light
The Savage LiteShaper Flexible LED Panel can be a useful tool in conjunction with some softbox styles.
It can be used as a modeling light even when your studio strobe or speedlight is attached. It can also be used as a constant light source if you wish to switch from strobe
to constant light to shoot videos.
It is designed for use with the Savage ModMaster™ Multi-Fabric Softbox with no additional accessories required. Simply attach the panel to the softbox by lining up the
Velcro strip on the backside of the light and the outer edge of the softbox. Up to 4 light panels can be accommodated. Attach the included 24” (61cm) battery cable to the
power bank. Slide the power bank into the included power bank light stand holder. Attach the power pack to your light stand by Velcroing the two straps around the stand.
Run the 24” cable through the back of the softbox between the speedring and the fabric. Plug into the LED pad and turn on the power bank to illuminate. Up to 4 pads can
now be controlled by a single remote.
