5.3 Loading the gun (ready to fire) 5.3.1 Loading from the magazine
Procedure:
1. Decock the gun (see section 6.2).
2. Remove/open magazine (see section
5.8.1/ 5.8.2).
3. Open slide (see section 5.7.1).
4. Fill the magazine (see section 5.8.3).
5. Install magazine or close (see section 5.8.1/
5.8.2).
6. Close slide (see section 5.7.2).
The gun is loaded and ready to fire.
5.3.2 Loading from your hand
Procedure:
1. Decock the gun (see section 6.2).
2. Remove/open magazine (see section
5.8.1/ 5.8.2).
3. Open slide and lock (see section 5.7.1).
4. Hold the gun with the muzzle pointing down.
5. Slide the round through the ejector window in
the barrel chamber.
6. Close slide.
The gun is loaded and ready to fire.
WARNING!
Insufficient awareness of the dangers
May lead to death or severe injuries
• Never load or unload the gun inside a vehicle,
inside a building or any other confined space
(except in a designated firing range).
• Before loading, always wipe off any excess
grease and oil and check that there is no
obstruction in the bore of the barrel.
• Always keep the muzzle of the gun pointed in
a safe direction.
• Do not place your finger onto the trigger
tongue, but outside the trigger guard.
• Do not load the gun by inserting the
magazine until immediately before shooting.
• Never rely on safety mechanisms. They are
never a substitute for careful and correct
handling of the gun.
• Never let a loaded gun out of your hands.
