5.8.2 Inserting the magazine
Procedure:
1. Insert the magazine into the magazine shaft
and push upwards until the magazine engages
audibly. Do not jam the magazine.
2. If fitted: Push magazine safety towards the
barrel (see section 10.2).
5.8.3 Loading the magazine
Procedure:
1. Push the rear feeder down.
2. Push the round from the front under the
magazine lip.
5.9 Trigger
Three trigger variants are available for the
SAUER 202: A rifle trigger, a rifle trigger with rear
set trigger, and a pressure point match trigger.
5.9.1 Rifle trigger
Note:
The trigger weight has been set to
approx. 15 N (1,500 g) at factory.
The rifle trigger is a direct trigger without creep.
The shot is fired after the resistance has been
overcome.

CAUTION!
Gun may be damaged
The trigger can be changed, but this must
only be carried out by a gunsmith.
WARNING!
Uncontrolled discharge of shot
May lead to death or severe injuries
For safety reasons the rifle trigger weight
must only be modified by a qualified
gunsmith.
The minimum setting for the trigger weight is
10 N (1,000 g).
