8.3 Inserting the bolt

8.4 Fitting the front stock
Corresponding figure, see Fig. 13.
Procedure:
1. Attach the front stock in a straight line to the
system connection whilst holding the unlocking
button at the tip of the front stock pressed
down.
2. Release button.
3. Insert and lock bolt (see section 5.7.3).
4. Fit the sling attachment (see section 8.6).
Note:
• The minute radial play of the barrel and front
stock in the assembled condition are due to
the technical design and guarantee the easy
disassembly of the rifle. This does not
negatively affect the precision and stability.
5. Check:
With the front stock fitted no gap must be
visible between the two metal plates
(see Fig. 20).
If a gap is visible (see Fig. 21), the barrel is not far
enough in the magazine tube preventing the front
stock from locking fully.
In this case the barrel must be removed and
reinserted correctly following the instructions
above.
