Step 5 å You have the option to assemble the DOOR to open to the left or the right of your cabinet. Step 8 å å å å å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Lay the UPPER BACK (D) over the upper opening of your cabinet. å Make equal margins along the bottom and side edges of the LOWER BACK (I). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å å Fasten the LOWER BACK (I) to your unit using the remaining NAILS (6). Make equal margins along the top and side edges of the BACK (D). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square".
Step 9 å Carefully stand your unit upright in its final location against a wall. å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (12) over the METAL PINS (11). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A, B, H and J). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (F) onto the METAL PINS. F B A F 11 12 (12 used) H J F 414817 www.sauder.
Step 10 å Fasten the HINGES (7) to the DOOR (L). Use four SILVER 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (17). å Fasten the KNOB (13) to the DOOR (L). Step 11 å Fasten the DOOR (L) to the LOWER END with the HINGE BRACKETS. Slide the HINGES (12) onto the HINGE BRACKETS on the LOWER END. å Secure the DOOR with the mounting screw on the HINGE BRACKET. See the next step for adjustments. Mounting screw L 414817 www.sauder.
Step 12 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 13 å We recommend using the FURNITURE TIPPING RESTRAINT KIT (99) for added stability. Fasten a bracket to the back edge of the TOP (C) using the 5/8" screw as shown. å Follow the instructions included in the KIT to fasten your unit to the wall. Almost time to celebrate! With a nap. Step 14 å å å å Peel a screw cover from the SCREW COVER CARD (10) and stick them onto the visible screw heads. Using your hammer, gently tap a CAM COVER (9) onto each HIDDEN CAM.
