Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S). å NOTE: For each EXTENSION RAIL, turn a SCREW into the hole shown in the enlarged diagram. Then, slide the inner cartridge of the EXTENSION RAIL in to find the other hole that lines up with the hole in the END/SMALL UPRIGHT.

Step 10 å Fasten the HUTCH RIGHT END (C) to the HUTCH TOP (M). Tighten two TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Caution How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible.

Step 15 å Using your hammer, gently tap the HUTCH LEGS (V and W) onto the MOLDING CONNECTORS in the TOP MOLDING (EE). å NOTE: Be sure the CAM SCREWS in the HUTCH LEGS (V and W) insert into the holes in the HUTCH ENDS (C and D). å Fasten the HUTCH LEGS (V and W) to the HUTCH ENDS (C and D). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: You may need to gently tap the MOLDING CONNECTORS back into the TOP MOLDING and HUTCH LEGS once the HIDDEN CAMS are tightened. Now might be a good time to refresh your drink.
Step 16 å Fasten the TOP (H) to the HUTCH ENDS (C and D) and HUTCH UPRIGHT (G). Step 22 å å å å Insert three WOOD DOWELS (15F) into the LEGS (I, J, and K). å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS and CAM SCREWS in the LEGS insert into the holes in the ENDS (A and B). å å Fasten the LEGS (I and J) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS. Fasten the CENTER LEG (K) to the UPRIGHT (E). Tighten three HIDDEN CAMS. NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWEL in the CENTER LEG inserts into the hole in the UPRIGHT.
Step 23 å NOTE: Be careful of how much pressure you apply to the upper hutch portion of your unit as you turn the unit over. å å With someone's help, carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. å Fasten the LEFT END (B) and MODESTY PANEL (O) to the TOP (H). Tighten three TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. å Fasten the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) to the BOTTOM (N). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S).
Step 24 å å Unfold the LARGE BACK (R) and lay it over the upper portion of your unit. å å å å å å å å Fasten the sides and top edges of the LARGE BACK (R) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Make equal margins along all four edges of the LARGE BACK (R). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". NOTE: Also, be sure to tap NAILS (1N) into the holes that line up over the HUTCH UPRIGHT (G) and SHELVES (P and Q).
Step 25 å NOTE: Be careful of how much pressure you apply to the upper hutch portion of your unit as you stand it upright. å With someone's help, carefully stand your unit upright and position the unit in its final location. å Turn the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) downward until it touches the floor. å IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FOOT should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the LEGS (I, J, K, and L). Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. L I L K L With your No.

Step 27 å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. Stop å Fasten the DOOR (T) to the SMALL UPRIGHT (F) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them. å Fasten a KNOB (28K) to the DOOR (T). Use a GOLD 1" MACHINE SCREW (50S).
Step 28 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 29 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO 1 The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Step 30 å å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15). å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. Fasten the EXTENSION SLIDES (HH) to the LARGE DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #2 and #4.
Step 31 å å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the DRAWER SIDES (D12 and D13). å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE. Fasten a DRAWER RIGHT (35GC) to the DRAWER RIGHT SIDE (D12) and a DRAWER LEFT (35GD) to the DRAWER LEFT SIDE (D13). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #3.
Step 32 å Fasten three KNOBS (28K) to the DRAWER FRONTS (AA and BB). Use three GOLD 1" MACHINE SCREWS (50S). 50S GOLD 1" MACHINE SCREW (3 used for the KNOBS) AA 28K NOTE: This KNOB will be fastened underneath the DRAWER BOTTOM. BB 28K www.sauder.
Step 33 å å Push a FILE GLIDE (4B) onto the LARGE DRAWER RIGHT SIDE (D14). å Slide another FILE GLIDE (4B) onto the other end of the FILE RODS (7B), then press this FILE GLIDE over the LARGE DRAWER LEFT SIDE (D15). Slide the FILE RODS (7B) into the FILE GLIDE (4B) on the LARGE DRAWER RIGHT SIDE. Insert the FILE RODS into the holes of your choice in the FILE GLIDES, depending on your file sizes. 7B 4B 7B D15 4B D14 Page 38 420410 www.sauder.
Step 34 å To insert the drawer (AA) into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the rollers on the drawer behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. å To insert the large drawer (BB) into your unit, line up the EXTENSION SLIDES on the drawer with the EXTENSION RAILS on the unit and push the drawer into the unit until the drawer is fully inserted. The drawer will push in hard until it is all the way in, then it will slide in and out easier.
Step 35 å Separate the CARDS on the CARD SHEET (38M) and insert one into each of the CARD HOLDERS (35M). å å Push a CAM COVER (13P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM. Push the HOLE PLUG (41P) into the hole in the BOTTOM (N). 38M 13P 15 lbs. Step 36 å To make adjustments to the top drawer, loosen SCREW #3 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.

Assembler l'élément sur un sol à moquette ou sur le carton vide pour éviter d'endommager l'élément ou le sol. Pour commencer l'assemblage, enfoncer une FIXATION TWIST-LOCK® SAUDER (10F) dans les gros trous des EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et le MONTANT (E). Enfiler la MOULURE DE TABLETTE* (CC) sur le chant cranté de la TABLETTE (P).
ÉTAPE 12 ÉTAPE 16 Fixer le MONTANT DE SURMEUBLE (G) au DESSUS DE SURMEUBLE (M) et à la TABLETTE (P). Serrer quatre FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK®. Fixer le DESSUS (H) aux EXTRÉMITÉS DE SURMEUBLE (C et D) et au MONTANT DE SURMEUBLE (G). Utiliser six VIS TÊTE PLATE 49 mm NOIRES (113S). REMARQUE : Utiliser le tournevis court pour serrer les FIXATIONS TWIST-LOCK® dans le MONTANT DE SURMEUBLE (G). REMARQUE : Il est préférable de donner quelques tours de tournevis à chaque VIS avant de les serrer toutes à bloc.
ÉTAPE 22 ÉTAPE 24 (SUITE) Insérer trois CHEVILLES EN BOIS (15F) dans les PIEDS (I, J et K). Placer l'ARRIÈRE (S) sur la portion inférieure de l'unité, veiller à avoir des marges égales le long des chants inférieur et latéraux. Fixer le PIED CENTRAL (K) au MONTANT (E). ÉTAPE 28 ÉTAPE 33 Consulter le schéma agrandi pour identifier les pièces des CHARNIÈRES. Il faut peut-être ajuster les PORTES. Suivre les indications ci-dessous pour ajuster. RÉGLAGES DES PORTES : Pour ajuster les PORTES latéralement (horizontalement), tourner la vis de réglage vers l'intérieur ou vers l'extérieur. Pour ajuster les PORTES de haut en bas (verticalement), desserrer les deux vis de réglage. Déplacer les PORTES verticalement à l'emplacement désiré. Serrer les vis après avoir ajusté.

PASO 1 PASO 6 (CONTINUACIÓN) No apriete los SUJETADORES TWIST-LOCK® en este paso. Ensamble la unidad sobre un piso alfombrado o sobre el cartón vacío para evitar rayar la unidad o el piso. Para comenzar el ensamblaje, empuje un SUJETADOR TWIST-LOCK® SAUDER (10F) en los agujeros grandes de los EXTREMOS (A y B) y del PARAL (E).
