Step 5 å Fasten the UPRIGHTS (C, D, and E) to the TOP (F). Tighten six TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible. Step 8 å Fasten the ENDS (A and B) to the TOP (F) and BOTTOM (G). Tighten eight TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. å Fasten the REAR LEGS (O) to the ENDS (A and B). Step 9 å å Unfold the BACK (H) and lay it over your unit. å å Fasten the BACK (H) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Make equal margins along long edges and along the short edges of the BACK (H). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHTS. 1N NAIL (58 used in this step) These holes must line up over the UPRIGHTS.
Step 10 å å å å Fasten the ADJUSTABLE FEET (34E) to the BOTTOM (G). Use three BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S) in each FOOT. NOTE: Be sure to use the holes shown. Step 11 å å Fasten the FRONT LEGS (M and N) to TOP MOLDING (P). First push the MOLDING CONNECTORS (17F) into the notches of the LEGS (M and N) and TOP MOLDING (P). Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. Then, tap the MOLDING CONNECTORS (17F) completely into the notches with a hammer and straight edge screwdriver. 17F N M 17F P M www.sauder.

Step 15 å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten a DOOR (I) to the RIGHT END (A). Use the screws in the HINGES. å Fasten a KNOB (28K) to the DOOR (I). Use a 1" MACHINE SCREW (50S). å Repeat this step fastening the other DOOR (I) to the LEFT END (B).
Step 16 å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw å Fasten a GLASS DOOR (J) to the RIGHT UPRIGHT (D). Use the screws in the HINGES. å Fasten a DOOR MOLDING (T) to GLASS DOOR (J). Use two BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (12S). å Fasten a KNOB (28K) to the GLASS DOOR (J). Use a SILVER 1-1/2" MACHINE SCREW (95S).
Step 17 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 18 å å Position your unit in its final location. å IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FOOT should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the LEGS (M, N, and O). å Cover the holes with three HOLE PLUGS (41P). If you're doing this to help a friend, don't leave without a bite. Open the DOORS. Through the holes in the BOTTOM (G), turn the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) downward until it touches the floor. 41P Make adjustments before covering the holes. N M O G With your No.
Step 19 å Fasten a CARD HOLDER (35M) to a LARGE SHELF MOLDING (R). Use two SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREWS (15S). å Separate the CARDS on the CARD SHEET (38M) and insert one into the CARD HOLDER (35M). å Repeat this step using the remaining LARGE ADJUSTABLE SHELF and MOLDING. 15S SILVER 5/8" MACHINE SCREW (4 used for the CARD HOLDERS) L Open end to insert CARDS R 35M 38M 35M www.sauder.
Step 20 å Apply the WARNING LABEL (4L) to the TOP (F). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram. å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. å å Push a CAM COVER (13P) onto each HIDDEN CAM.
