It means a video assembly tip is available at www.sauder.com/services/tips Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å Push ten HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into SHELF (D), SLIDING SHELF (E), and BRACES (G). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM. Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step.
Step 2 å Push twelve HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into the holes in the short edges of the ENDS as shown. The arrow in the HIDDEN CAM must point toward the hole in the edge of the board. Step 3 RIGHT END ASSEMBLY å Follow the upper diagrams in the next three steps for the RIGHT END ASSEMBLY. å Fasten the RIGHT END (A) to a LEFT FRONT/RIGHT REAR LEG (I). Step 4 å å Lay the ENDS (A and B) flat on the floor with the HIDDEN CAM surfaces down. å å NOTE: Do not overtighten the SCREWS. å NOTE: If the MOLDING comes up off of the SCREWS, remove it and slide it on again. Turn four BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the ENDS (A and B) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rest on the surfaces of the ENDS. Slide the MOLDINGS (M) onto the ENDS (A and B). Line up the grooves in the MOLDINGS over the heads of the SCREWS in the ENDS.
Step 5 RIGHT END ASSEMBLY å Stand the RIGHT END (A) upright. Fasten the remaining RIGHT FRONT/LEFT REAR LEG (H) to the RIGHT END (A). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. 1 2 H These surfaces should be even. Step 6 å Fasten a CABINET RIGHT (35GA) to the RIGHT END (A) and a CABINET LEFT (35GB) to the LEFT END (B). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #3. Step 7 å Fasten the LEFT END (B) to the TOP (C). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. Step 9 å Insert two METAL PINS (1R) into the short edges of one BRACE (G). å Fasten the BRACES (G) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: Be sure the PIN in the upper BRACE inserts into the hole in the END. Step 10 å Fasten the RIGHT END (A) to the TOP (C), SHELF (D) and BRACES (G). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: Be sure the PIN in the upper BRACE inserts into the hole in the END. Step 11 å Fasten two METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the upper BRACE (G). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: Be sure the BRACKETS are even with the edges of the BRACE. å Fasten the BRACE MOLDING (N) to the upper BRACE (G). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Fi ni sh ed su rfa ce This edge will slightly overhang the BRACE (G). N G 4G 1S BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) www.sauder.
Step 12 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å NOTE: You can access the rear holes in the RAILS through the rear of the unit. Fasten the CABINET RIGHT (40AW) to the RIGHT END (A) and the CABINET LEFT (40AX) to the LEFT END (B). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S).
Step 13 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Lay the BACK (F) over your unit. å Make equal margins along all the two short edges of the BACK (F) and along the long edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). 1N NOTE: A perforation has been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the hole needed. NAIL (18 used in this step) The perforation should be here.
Step 14 VIEW THE T-LOCK BOX VIDEO 1 2 The tabs should insert freely into the slots. Gently tilt the DRAWER SIDES side to side until the tabs slip into the slots. With the palm of your hand, tap the DRAWER BOTTOM down into the groove. Un fi su nish rfa ed ce D953 D14 D14 D15 D15 J J Be sure the DRAWER BOTTOM inserts into the DRAWER FRONT groove. Groove å Insert the DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15) at an angle into the slot at each end of the DRAWER FRONT (J).
Step 15 å Insert a SLIDE CAM (10A) into the DRAWER SIDES (D14 and D15). å Fasten a DRAWER RIGHT (35GC) to the DRAWER RIGHT SIDE (D14) and a DRAWER LEFT (35GD) to the DRAWER LEFT SIDE (D15). Use four GOLD 5/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (3S) through holes #1 and #3. å NOTE: The screw head in the CAM must be visible through the slotted hole in the SLIDE.
Step 16 å Fasten the DRAWER FRONT MOLDING (K) to the DRAWER FRONT (J). Use two BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (12S). å NOTE: This BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREW (12S) is larger in diameter with a quantity of two. The other BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREW (18S) is smaller in diameter with a quantity of four and will be used in the next step. å Fasten a PULL (101K) to the DRAWER FRONT MOLDING (K) and DRAWER FRONT (J). Use two BLACK 1-1/8" MACHINE SCREWS (21S).
Step 17 å Fasten a PULL (101K) to the SLIDING SHELF MOLDING (L). Use two SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREWS (38S). å Fasten the SLIDING SHELF MOLDNG (L) to the SLIDING SHELF (E). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the DRAWER RIGHT (40AY) and DRAWER LEFT (40AZ) to the SLIDING SHELF (E). Use four BROWN 1" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (18S). 38S SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREW (2 used in this step) L 101K This surface will have less holes.
Step 18 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. If you're doing this to help a friend, don't leave without a bite. To insert the drawer into your unit, tip the front of the drawer down and drop the rollers on the drawer behind the rollers on the unit. Lift the front of the drawer up and slide it into the unit. Repeat this step to insert the SLIDING SHELF (E). 40 lbs. E 5 lbs. 15 lbs. 20 lbs. Page 22 Place the roller on the SLIDE behind the roller on the RAIL. 420337 www.sauder.
Step 19 å To make adjustments to the drawers, loosen SCREW #3 in the SLIDES a 1/4 turn, then turn the CAM clockwise or counter-clockwise. Notice how the drawer raises or lowers as you turn the CAM. The higher the screw in the oblong hole, the higher your drawer front will be. The lower the screw, the lower the drawer front. By adjusting the drawers this way, it will help the DRAWER FRONTS line up better when closed. Tighten the SCREW when finished with adjustments.

Enfoncer dix EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES (1F) dans la TABLETTE (D), la TABLETTE COULISSANTE (E) et les ENTRETOISES (G).

Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE PLATE 8 mm DORÉES (3S). Fixer la MOULURE DE TABLETTE COULISSANTE (L) à la TABLETTE COULISSANTE (E). Serrer deux EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
