It means a video assembly tip is available at www.sauder.com/services/tips Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å To begin assembly, push eight SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS (10F) into the large holes in the ENDS (A and B) and BOTTOM (E). Step 3 å Insert two WOOD DOWELS (15F) into the holes in the FRONT LEGS (I and J). å Fasten the ENDS (A and B) to the FRONT LEGS (I and J). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS. å NOTE: Be sure the WOOD DOWELS in the FRONT LEGS insert into the holes in the ENDS. 1 2 RIGHT END ASSEMBLY The FRONT LEG will overhang this edge. Step 4 å å Lay the ENDS (A and B) flat on the floor exactly as shown. å å NOTE: Do not overtighten the SCREWS. å NOTE: If the MOLDING comes up off of the SCREWS, remove it and slide it on again. Turn four BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the ENDS (A and B) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rest on the surfaces of the ENDS. Apply pressure with your hands as you guide the MOLDINGS over the SCREWS and onto the ENDS. Slide the END MOLDINGS (O) onto the ENDS (A and B).
Step 5 å Stand the ENDS (Aand B) upright as shown and fasten the BACK LEGS (K) to the ENDS (A and B). Use six BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (26S) . 26S BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREW (6 used in this step) RIGHT END ASSEMBLY K These surfaces should be even. The BACK LEG will overhang this edge. Step 6 å å å å Slide the BOTTOM MOLDING* (M) onto the notched edge of the BOTTOM (E). Slide the SHELF MOLDING* (N) onto the notched edge of an ADJUSTABLE SHELF (H). Repeat this step for the other ADJUSTABLE SHELF (H) and SHELF MOLDING (N). *U.S. Patent No. 5,499,886 Slide the BOTTOM MOLDING (M) onto the notched edge. Step 7 å Fasten the ENDS (A and B) to the BOTTOM (E). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. Edge with TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2.

Step 9 å Fasten the BALLAST (L) to the BOTTOM (E). Use four SILVER 1-1/4" PAN HEAD SCREWS (45S). Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. E L 45S SILVER 1-1/4" PAN HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) www.sauder.
Step 10 å å Insert two METAL PINS (1R) into the TOP (D). å NOTE: Be sure the METAL PINS in the TOP insert into the holes in the UPRIGHT (C). Fasten the TOP (D) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. These holes must be here. 1R D Sur hol face w es ith A C B For support, place packing foam and magazines under the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Step 11 å å Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. Carefully cut out the holes needed. Caution Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse.
Step 12 å Fasten the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) to the BOTTOM (E). Use four BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: Adjustments to the ADJUSTABLE FOOT will be made in Step 13 once your unit is standing upright. E 34E 1S BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (4 used in this step) Page 16 420334 www.sauder.
Step 13 å Carefully stand your unit upright and position your unit in its final location. å Turn the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) downward until it touches the floor. å IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FOOT should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the LEGS (I, J, and K). Step 15 å Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. å Fasten a DOOR (G) to the LEFT END (B) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them. å å å Insert two BUSHING CONNECTORS (32F) into the holes in the DOOR MOLDING (P).
Step 16 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), turn the adjusting screw in or out. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 17 å å We recommend using the SAFETY STRAP (60M) for added stability. å INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (Also available at www.yl-anchors.com) 1. Insert the SAFETY DRYWALL ANCHOR (61M) through the WASHER (13M) and one end of the SAFETY STRAP (60M). 2. Using a Phillips screwdriver or a hand drill, press the screw slightly onto the drywall. 3. Apply pressure; turn the screw until a pilot hole is made and the nylon sheath slips through. 4.
Step 18 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the remaining METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (H) onto the METAL PINS. A H H B C 1R 2R Page 22 420334 (8 used) www.sauder.
Step 19 å Apply the WARNING LABEL (1L) to the TOP (D). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram. å å å å NOTE: This is a permanent label intended to last for the life of the product. Once applied, do not try to remove it. Push the HOLE PLUG (41P) into the hole in the BOTTOM (E) as shown.

Relever, avec précaution, l'élément dans sa position verticale et placer l'élément dans son emplacement final. Tourner le PIED RÉGLABLE (34E) vers le bas jusqu'à ce qu'il touche le sol. ÉTAPE 9 IMPORTANT : Le PIED RÉGLABLE ne doit pas dépasser les chants inférieurs des PIEDS (I, J et K). Fixer le BALLAST (L) au DESSOUS (E). Utiliser quatre VIS TÊTE GOUTTE DE SUIF 32 mm ARGENTÉES (45S).
ÉTAPE 16 ÉTAPE 18 Consulter le schéma agrandi pour identifier les pièces des CHARNIÈRES. Enfoncer les MANCHONS EN CAOUTCHOUC (2R) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL (1R) restantes. Insérer les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL dans les trous choisis dans les EXTRÉMITÉS (A et B) et le MONTANT (C). Poser les TABLETTES RÉGLABLES (H) sur les GOUPILLES EN MÉTAL. Il faut peut-être ajuster les PORTES. Suivre les indications cidessous pour ajuster.
