Step 3 å å Carefully flip the ENDS (A and B) over. å å NOTE: Do not overtighten the SCREWS. å NOTE: If the MOLDING comes up off of the SCREWS, remove it and slide it on again. Remember: Righty tighty. Lefty loosey. Turn eight BLACK 9/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (32S) into the ENDS (A and B) until the shoulders of the SCREWS rest on the surfaces of the ENDS. Slide the END MOLDINGS (Q) onto the ENDS (A and B). Line up the grooves in the MOLDINGS over the heads of the SCREWS in the ENDS.
Step 4 å Turn twenty-two CAM SCREWS (8F) into the LEGS (I, J, K, and L). å NOTE: Each REAR LEG will use three CAM SCREWS and each FRONT LEG will use eight CAM SCREWS. 8F (22 used in this step) L Each REAR LEG will use three CAM SCREWS. Step 5 å å Carefully flip the ENDS (A and B) over. å Now, fill the first hole in the ENDS (A and B) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. Fasten the FRONT LEGS (I and J) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten eight HIDDEN CAMS. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å Fill the holes in the short edges of the END MOLDINGS (O) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Fasten the END MOLDINGS (O) to the FRONT LEGS (I and J). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Wipe away the excess GLUE.
Step 6 å First, fill the holes in the REAR LEGS (K and L) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Then, insert a WOOD DOWEL (15F) into the holes in each LEG. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å Now, fill the hole in the short edges of the SIDE SKIRTS (O) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. Fasten the REAR LEGS (K and L) to the ENDS (A and B) and SIDE SKIRTS (O). Use eight BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (26S). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS in the SIDE SKIRTS (O). Wipe away the excess GLUE. Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE.
Step 7 å å Fasten the BOTTOM (E) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. Don't worry. It isn't Rome. This can be built in a day. Fasten the UPRIGHT (C) to the BOTTOM (E). Use two BLACK 1-15/16" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (113S). How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. 2.
Step 8 å å Fasten six METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the BACK SKIRT (N), BOTTOM MOLDING (P), and TOP MOLDING (S). Use six BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). 1S BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) NOTE: Be sure the BRACKETS are even with the edges of the MOLDINGS, except the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) where the BRACKET will fasten to the center. 4G å Fasten the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) to the LEFT FRONT LEG (J). Tighten the HIDDEN CAM. å Fasten the BOTTOM MOLDING (P) to the BOTTOM (E).
Step 9 å First, fill the holes in the LEFT REAR LEG (L) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Then, insert a WOOD DOWEL (15F) into the hole. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å Now, fill the hole in the short edge of the BACK SKIRT (N) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. å Fasten the BACK SKIRT (N) to the BOTTOM (E). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). Wipe away the excess GLUE. å NOTE: You will tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in the BACK SKIRT in step 14. Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE.
Step 10 å Fasten the BALLAST (T) to the BOTTOM (E). Use two BROWN 1-1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (14S). E Use the lower set of holes. T 14S BROWN 1-1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (2 used in this step) Page 14 419151 www.sauder.
Step 11 å First, fill the holes in the LEFT FRONT LEG (J) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Then, insert a WOOD DOWEL (15F) into the hole. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å Now, fill the hole in the short edge of the FRONT SKIRT (M) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. å Fasten the FRONT SKIRT (M) to the LEFT FRONT LEG (J). Tighten the HIDDEN CAM. Wipe away the excess GLUE. Fill the holes 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. ! Caution Inspect the parts thoroughly before assembling.
Step 12 å First, fill the holes in the RIGHT LEGS (I and K) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE (54M). Then, insert a WOOD DOWEL (15F) into the holes in each LEG. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å Now, fill the holes in each SKIRT (M and N) 1/4 to 1/2 full with GLUE. Fasten the RIGHT LEGS (I and K) to the FRONT SKIRT (M), and MOLDINGS (P and S). Tighten three HIDDEN CAMS. Wipe away the excess GLUE. å NOTE: You will tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in the BACK SKIRT (N) in step 14.
Step 13 å Fasten the TOP (D) to the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Tighten six TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. å Fasten the TOP MOLDING (S) to the TOP (D). Use two BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). 1S Finished edge BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (2 used in this step) D S B C A www.sauder.
Step 14 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along the two long edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). å NOTE: Perforations have been provided for access through the BACK. å Tighten four HIDDEN CAMS in the BACK SKIRT (N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened.

Step 16 å Fasten three HINGES (14H) to each DOOR (G). Use twelve BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). If you're doing this to help a friend, don't leave without a bite. 14H G G 14H 11S BLACK 1/2” FLAT HEAD SCREW (12 used in this step) Page 20 419151 www.sauder.
Step 17 å å å Carefully stand your unit upright. Stop Before fastening the DOOR to your unit, be sure the mounting screw is against the stops as shown in the right diagram. If it isn't, loosen the mounting screw to slide it against the stops. Then tighten the mounting screw. Mounting screw Fasten a DOOR (G) to the LEFT END (B) as shown in the lower diagram. Use the screws in the HINGES. You should start each SCREW a few turns before completely tightening any of them.
Step 18 å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å The DOORS may need some adjustments. Follow the text below to make needed adjustments. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws.
Step 19 å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREW (26S) into a stud in your wall. 26S BLACK 2-1/4" FLAT HEAD SCREW (1 used in this step) 1G BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1 used into the top of your unit) 1S www.sauder.
Step 20 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (H) onto the METAL PINS. å å Push a CAM COVER (12P) onto each HIDDEN CAM. å NOTE: Please read the back pages of the instruction booklet for important safety information. å This completes assembly. Clean with your favorite furniture polish or a damp cloth. Wipe dry.

ÉTAPE 9 (SUITE) ÉTAPE 14 Maintenant, remplir le trou du chant court de la PLINTHE ARRIÈRE (N) de 1/4 à 1/2 pleins de COLLE. Attention Ne pas relever l'élément dans sa position verticale avant d'avoir fixé l’ARRIÈRE. L'élément risque de s'effondrer. Fixer la PLINTHE ARRIÈRE (N) au DESSOUS (E). Utiliser deux VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRES (1S). Nettoyer l'excès de COLLE. REMARQUE : Serrer les EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES dans la PLINTHE ARRIÈRE à l’étape 14. ÉTAPE 10 Fixer le BALLAST (T) au DESSOUS (E).
ÉTAPE 18 ÉTAPE 19 Consulter le schéma agrandi pour identifier les pièces des CHARNIÈRES. Il est recommandé d'utiliser la CONSOLE DE SÉCURITÉ (1G) pour renforcer la stabilité. Utiliser une VIS TÊTE LARGE 14 mm NOIRE (1S) dans le haut de l'élément et une VIS TÊTE PLATE 57 mm NOIRE (26S) dans un montant du mur. Il faut peut-être ajuster les PORTES. Suivre les indications cidessous pour ajuster.
