Step 5 å Fasten the TOP (D) to the ENDS (A and B). Tighten four TWIST-LOCK® FASTENERS. How to use the SAUDER TWIST-LOCK® FASTENER 1. Insert the dowel end of the FASTENER into the hole of the adjoining part. NOTE: The dowel end of the FASTENER must remain fully inserted in the hole of the adjoining part while locking the FASTENER. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. 2. Tighten the FASTENER with a Phillips screwdriver as tight as possible.

Step 7 å Tap two MOLDING CONNECTORS (17F) into the notches in the FRONT LEGS (H and I) and TOP MOLDING (K). Use your hammer to tap the MOLDING CONNECTORS (17F) into the notches in the FRONT LEGS and TOP MOLDING. Flat end Flat end 17F I 17F H K www.sauder.

Step 11 å Fasten the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) to the BOTTOM (E). Use three BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å NOTE: Adjustments to the ADJUSTABLE FOOT will be made once your unit is standing upright. å Fasten the BOTTOM (E) to the UPRIGHT (C). Use two BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (2S). å NOTE: One of the SCREWS for the BOTTOM will go through the ADJUSTABLE FOOT and into the UPRIGHT. å Fasten two CARD HOLDERS (35M) to the BOTTOM MOLDING (L). Use four SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREWS (38S).
Step 12 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (F) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (F). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (F) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHT (C).
Step 13 å Carefully stand your unit upright and position the unit in its final location. å Turn the ADJUSTABLE FOOT (34E) downward until it touches the floor. å IMPORTANT: The ADJUSTABLE FOOT should not extend beyond the bottom edges of the LEGS (H, I, and J). Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms. With your No. 2 Phillips Screwdriver, turn the ADJUSTABLE FOOT downward until it touches the floor. Floor 34E J www.sauder.
Step 14 å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (2S) into a stud in your wall. å Apply the WARNING LABEL (1L) to the TOP (D). You should be able to read the label when the TV is removed from the unit. When the TV is in place, it should hide the label. Peel off the backing and apply the label as shown in the diagram.
Step 15 å å Slide an ADJUSTABLE SHELF MOLDING* (M) onto the notched edge of the ADJUSTABLE SHELF (G). å å Repeat this step for the other ADJUSTABLE SHELF (G). Then, fasten a CARD HOLDER (35M) to the ADJUSTABLE SHELF MOLDING (M). Use two SILVER 1/2" MACHINE SCREWS (38S). *U.S. Patent No. 5,499,886 G Notched edge These surfaces should be even. Step 16 å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (G) onto the METAL PINS. å å å å å Separate a CARD from the CARD SHEET (38M) and insert into each CARD HOLDER. Push a CAM COVER (13P) onto each visible HIDDEN CAM in the ENDS (A and B). Insert the HOLE PLUG (41P) into the hole in the BOTTOM (E).

REMARQUE : Les réglages des PIEDS RÉGLABLES se feront une fois l’unité en position verticale. Fixer la MOULURE DE DESSUS (K) au DESSUS (D). Serrer trois EXCENTRIQUES ESCAMOTABLES.
