It means a video assembly tip is available at www.sauder.com/services/tips Step 1 å Assemble your unit on a carpeted floor or on the empty carton to avoid scratching your unit or the floor. å Push fourteen HIDDEN CAMS (1F) into the ENDS (A and B), UPRIGHT (C), SHELF (E), and BOTTOM (F). Then, insert the metal end of a CAM DOWEL (2F) into each HIDDEN CAM. Do not tighten the HIDDEN CAMS in this step.

Step 3 å Flip the MOLDINGS (L, M, and N) over and fasten the MOLDINGS to the TOP (D). Use seven SILVER 2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (57S). Remember: Righty tighty. Step 4 å Fasten the LEFT END (B) to the LEFT MOLDING (N). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the SHELF (E) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. Curved edge Finished edge N L D B Caution Risk of damage or injury. HIDDEN CAMS must be completely tightened. HIDDEN CAMS that are not completely tightened may loosen, and parts may separate.
Step 5 å Fasten the UPRIGHT (C) to the SHELF (E). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the BOTTOM (F) to the LEFT END (B). Tighten two HIDDEN CAMS. å Fasten the BOTTOM (F) to the UPRIGHT (C). Use two BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (2S). å Fasten the RIGHT END (A) to the SHELF (E), BOTTOM (F), and RIGHT MOLDING (M). Tighten six HIDDEN CAMS. Step 6 å Fasten four METAL BRACKETS (4G) to the ENDS (A and B) and BOTTOM (F). Use four 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREWS (1S). å Fasten the SKIRT (K) to the ENDS (A and B) and BOTTOM (F). Step 7 å Carefully turn your unit over onto its front edges. Unfold the BACK (G) and lay it over your unit. å Make equal margins along all four edges of the BACK (G). Push on opposite corners of your unit if needed to make it "square". å å Fasten the BACK (G) to your unit using the NAILS (1N). Caution Do not stand the unit upright without the BACK fastened. The unit may collapse. NOTE: Be sure to tap NAILS into the holes that line up over the UPRIGHT (C) and SHELF (E).
Step 8 å Fasten the HINGES (13H) to the DOORS (H and I). Use eight BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREWS (11S). 11S BLACK 1/2" FLAT HEAD SCREW (8 used in this step) 13H I H 13H Page 12 416825 www.sauder.
Step 9 å å Carefully stand your unit upright. å Fasten the LEFT DOOR (I) to the LEFT END (B). Use the screws in the HINGES. See the next step for adjustments. å Fasten a KNOB (105K) to the LEFT DOOR (I). Use a BLACK 1-1/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (9S). å Peel the FELT DISC from the FELT DISC CARD (1M). Stick a FELT DISC on the DOOR where it comes in contact with the SHELF (E). å Pro Tip: Lift with your legs. And, you know, your arms.
Step 10 å å Refer to the enlarged diagram to identify the parts on the HINGES. å DOOR ADJUSTMENTS: To adjust the DOORS from side to side (horizontal), loosen the mounting screw several turns, then turn the adjusting screw in or out. Tighten the mounting screw after making adjustments. å To adjust the DOORS up and down (vertical), loosen both vertical adjustment screws. Move the DOORS up or down to the desired location. Tighten the screws after making adjustments.
Step 11 å We recommend using the SAFETY BRACKET (1G) for added stability. Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (1S) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" FLAT HEAD SCREW (2S) into a stud in your wall. å Push the RUBBER SLEEVES (2R) over the METAL PINS (1R). Insert the METAL PINS into the hole locations of your choice in the ENDS (A and B) and UPRIGHT (C). Set the ADJUSTABLE SHELVES (J) onto the METAL PINS.
